In this particular image taken early last month (june), we see many features associated with recent activity including solar flares ($(yellow)), coronal loops ($(pink)), prominences ($(red)), filaments ($(purple)), spicules ($(green)), plumes ($(blue)), sunspots ($(black)), faculae ($(white)), chromospheric condensations ($(dark blue)), coronal holes ($(dark purple)); some even appear simultaneously! While all these features may seem unrelated at first glance they actually represent different aspects related directly back towards our central star -- making them perfect examples when discussing what drives both internal dynamics within our own Galaxy along with external influences outside its boundaries too! Solar Flare Activity Report: The Sun has been unusually active recently with several large sunspot groups erupting solar flares throughout June--including one that was recorded by NASA's Solar Dynamics Observatory (SDO) at X-Ray class M6 (or about one million times more powerful than a typical lightning bolt). That flare was accompanied by coronal mass ejections (CMEs), which send huge clouds of magnetized particles streaming out from our star into interplanetary space at speeds up to several million miles per hour.
